Pledge for Purpose

The Future Ready Foundation (FRF) encourage donors to select a core programme when pledging their support. Donors can choose from the following programmes:

Digital Divide

Addressing barriers to accessing technology and developing digital skills that support learning within school, at work, and at home.

  • Providing access to technology from basic everyday devices to emerging technologies. ​
  • Facilitating digital skills training for staff in schools, students, parents and wider communities.
  • Working with technology industry partners to offer free access to recognised industry certifications
  • Delivering STEAM and Digital Skills focused activities in schools and local communities.

Social Mobility

Ensuring people from challenging backgrounds have equal opportunities to better their future through education.

  • Providing a safe space in school holidays, which include education programmes and nutritious meals for children and vulnerable families
  • Creating enrichment opportunities for educational trips and experiences which otherwise would not be possible.
  • Facilitating STEAM-based activities for school children to promote careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Arts industries.

Future Careers

Providing career guidance and promoting pathways into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) industries, including apprenticeships.

  • Delivering career guidance, opportunities to engage with the world of work, support to write a CV, develop interview techniques, and offer active apprenticeship vacancies.
  • Supporting environmental and green/sustainability projects in schools.
  • Providing young people with employment opportunities in digital industries, such as apprentices with funded salaries that are deployed to support training and digital skills programmes.
  • A strong focus on developing digital skills such as interacting with digital services, online safety, social media, Artificial Intelligence, and more.
